From the World War II era to present over 40,000 Military and Veteran Organizations have registered with the IRS. One quarter of those organizations have registered since 2000 alone. Still the unemployment, homelessness, and suicide rates are disturbingly high.

As mentioned on the home page, the Carry On! Alliance is building a holistically designed, collaboratively operated residential campus. This campus, targeted for construction in the San Diego area, will embody a transitional culture, utilizing the best available career and personal development resources in order to guide a COA fellow through a comprehensive transition into his or her desired field.

The construction of a campus for veterans in various stages of transition while ambitious, is a necessary undertaking. The concept involves the creation of a nurturing and fully contained environment in order to ensure the continuity of support throughout a veteran's transition. The resources and benefits provided through allied Veteran Service Organizations within the Carry On! Alliance is realized through a collective of fully transitioned veterans and dedicated professionals from the private sector.

Prior to the development of the residential campus, the Carry On! Alliance will initiate its multi-faceted veteran transition mission; the Carry On! Alliance “campus without walls” program. We are in the process of assembling our first class of transitioning veterans and welcome your participation in and contribution. You may register as a partner/participant on this website in the “Become a Partner” page. Please contact us with any questions, comments or suggestions you may have.

Veterans and Service Members nearing transition: We want to hear your story, and support your next mission.

Veteran Support Organizations: We want to ally with you to better understand and showcase your strengths, and to generate best-fit connections with the Carry On! Alliance mission.

Prospective Donors and Volunteers: We welcome your support and value your leadership.

Over two-thirds of today’s veterans reported difficulties adjusting to civilian life, and reported that they do not know where to go or who to contact to get help.
